Govt schools to get Rs 4,000 each for tree plantation drive

GURUGRAM: The education department has set aside Rs 4,000 for every govt senior secondary faculty in the town for a new tree plantation scheme. However, it has not earmarked anything else for personal schools.

Under the state govt scheme, every student from categories 6 to 12 of each govt and private schools will get Rs 50 after every six months for 3 years for every sapling planted via them that survives. Premlata Yadav, district education officer, stated, “We have gained Rs 4,000 for every govt senior secondary faculty however no quantity for personal schools.” The money will probably be allotted a few of the schools once they reopen after the summer season vacations.
