LUDHIANA: Body of an aged person was found on the highway aspect on Talwandi Hairan highway in Raikot on Tuesday. The deceased has been recognized as 78-year-old Darshan Singh of Khandoor village.
Police officials mentioned Darshan Singh had left home on his bicycle on Monday night to meet his daughter Amandeep Kaur at Sherpur Khurd. They added that later his frame was spotted through some passerby with bicycle mendacity close to through.
Police mentioned the passer through then knowledgeable police after which police officers from Sadar Raikot police station reached the spot. Later family of the deceased had been knowledgeable in regards to the incident and frame was recovered.
Police officials mentioned it appeared that Darshan Singh was hit through some unidentified automobile after which he fell on the highway and died.
Station space officer (SHO) (performing) assistant sub inspector (ASI) Jasveer Singh mentioned that they had initiated inquest lawsuits under the CrPC as family didn’t need motion against someone.
