ALLAHABAD: Unidentified burglars made away with Rs 16.70 lakh after breaking the money field of an ATM of a nationalised bank in Mumfordganj locality underneath the boundaries of Colonelganj police station in wee hours of Thursday.

On being alerted, senior police officials together with SP (city) Brijesh Kumar Srivastava, rushed the spot.

The CCTV installed on the bank’s ATM was once not purposeful, which additional compounded the work of the police.
