Rape accused gets bail for 2nd time for exam

AHMEDABAD: Junagadh’s 24-year-old Ashvin Vadher will be released for the second one time on transient bail to appear within the Lok Rakshak Dal (RLD) exam that has been re-scheduled on January 6.

The rape accused, Vadher, used to be released on bail a month ago to take the test to qualify for the activity in police division. But because the exam used to be scrapped via the state government following the question paper leak, Vadher’s day trip became out to be meaningless.


As the state government introduced the test on January 6, Vadher moved Gujarat high courtroom second time and recommended for transient bail in order that he may take the exam for a government activity. On submission via Vadher’s advocate Hardik Kothari, Justice Umesh Trivedi on Tuesday ordered to free up him for three days on January four on furnishing bail bond of Rs 10,000. Vadher has been asked to surrender himself earlier than prison authorities on January 7. Vadher’s exam centre is in Junagadh town.


On November 27, Justice A Y Kogje had ordered to free up Vadher for three days to appear in LRD exam, which used to be scheduled on December three. Vadher has been in the back of bars since early 2015 on rape charges. He used to be arrested after he eloped with a minor lady in 2014. He used to be booked underneath Section 376 of the IPC and quite a lot of provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The lady used to be six months in need of 18, when they eloped.
