Allahabad: Panic gripped sector 16 and adjacent spaces on Kumbh Mela campus after hearth broke out at tent in Panch Terah Mai Tyagi Khalsa premises.
SSP (Kumbh) KP Singh mentioned: “Fire broke out at a tent in sector no16. Firemen doused the flames prior to it might unfold to different huts and cottages. Short-circuit might be the reason behind the incident.”
According to reviews, hearth broke out at one Brij Mohan Das’s tent. Seeing smoke billowing out, alert saints referred to as up hearth department officials and a major tragedy was once avoided.
Kumbh Mela police mentioned that the khalsa campus was once crowded when the fireplace broke out.
Following the incident, police have again taken up awareness marketing campaign particularly grass-made tents and cottages interesting them to straight away inform the nearest hearth station in case of fireplace.
