Insurance agent, son missing in NZ

Vadodara: A 58-year-old man and his son from the city have gone lacking after the fear assault at Christchurch in New Zealand on Friday.
Aarif Vohra, a resident of Panigate and his son Rameez (28) went lacking from Al Noor Mosque the place a gunman started shooting the worshippers randomly. The duo’s members of the family have been frantically seeking to locate them since the assault took place.

Aarif’s brother Mohsin stated that he had gone to New Zealand a few month in the past with his spouse Rukhsana. “Rameez had shifted to New Zealand for studies some years in the past and then settled in Christchurch. Aarif and Rukhsana had gone there to look after Rameez’s spouse who had delivered a kid,” Mohsin advised TOI.


“On Friday, Aarif and Rameez went to Al Noor Mosque for prayers. After the fear assault, they've been lacking. Our family there was making efforts to track them, however no one is aware of the place they are. They weren't even discovered within the health center,” Mohsin stated. Aarif’s elder son, who is settled in Australia, too has flown to New Zealand join the search.


Aarif remains in Dhanani Park in Memon Colony in Panigate and works as an insurance coverage agent. Rameez’s spouse Khusbu hails from Anand.


Mohsin’s friend Siddique Gandhi stated he will meet Vadodara MP Ranjan Bhatt on Saturday and request her to hunt assist of the central govt. “We hope that the New Zealand govt is helping us trace our members of the family. I'm in consistent contact with my members of the family in Christchurch,” Mohsin stated.
