CPM to ask Rahul: Will you keep Wayanad?

Thiruvananthapuram: The CPM state secretariat has decided to concentrate on ‘Will Rahul keep Wayanad?’ campaign to lure AICC president Rahul Gandhi. CPM will soon design a campaign that can focus on the repeated assertions made through Rahul and his aides that Amethi would remain his ‘karmabhoomi’ eternally and ask what would happen if Rahul were given elected from each constituencies.

The CPM calculates that this type of campaign will have a long way attaining impact inside the constituency as chances are high that high for Rahul quitting Wayanad if elected from each constituency. “The factor relates with the delight of Wayanad voters. Why should he vote for a candidate who is certain to give up in a week or so?” requested a CPM leader. The LDF candidate P P Suneer is a resident of the constituency and the campaign would indirectly demand voters to elect a depended on local as their consultant than be deceived through a posh outsider.

The secretariat which reviewed the election campaign preparations in Wayanad also decided to deliver basic secretary Sitaram Yechury for campaigning within the constituency. Apart from leader minister Pinarayi Vijayan and state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, 4 PB participants have already scheduled to campaign in Wayanad. As in line with unique time table, Yechury used to be now not intended to campaign in Wayanad. But, the secretariat concluded that Yechury’s campaign at Wayanad is necessary, particularly since he is the tallest CPM leader who helps to keep a cordial relation with the Nehru family. Yechury would campaign in North Kerala from April 18 to 20. Sources said he would campaign in Wayanad on April 18.

The secretariat also mentioned the controversy brought about through LDF convener A Vijayaraghavan and located that the remarks he had made in opposition to Alathur UDF candidate Ramya Haridas have been unnecessary. However, there wouldn’t be a public remark disowning Vijayaraghavan as his remark clarifying the incident used to be discovered sufficient. The state secretariat cautioned all leaders to keep additional vigil while talking in public purposes.

Meanwhile, veteran leader V S Achuthanandan said remarks of LDF convener have been incorrect. “If the observation of visiting Kunhalikutty defamed the candidate, this can be a severe observation. The LDF convener should display more vigil in such issues”, VS said in a Facebook publish.
