Garhwa: Amid apprehensions that the rift between Congress and RJD over the Chatra Lok Sabha seat will have an adversarial impact on mahagatbandhan candidate Ghuran Ram’s poll possibilities in Palamu, leaders of the opposition alliance put up a show of energy on Monday and pledged to work in combination to defeat BJP.
Addressing a press conference in Garhwa after a gathering, district presidents of RJD, Congress, JVM-P and JMM, stated that they are going to be operating for victory of the grand alliance candidate Ghuran Ram in Palamu.
The district Congress president, Arvind Toofani, reiterated: “We have pledged to make sure the victory Ghuran Ram in Palamu.”
RJD district president Zamiruddin Ansari, who presided within the alliance meeting, stated they have got formed a 51-member committee for smooth coordination all over campaigning in Palamu. “Members of the committee will visit blocks and villages to mobilise people and make stronger the mahagathbandan surroundings aside their variations,” Ansari stated.
