HYDERABAD: The Indian Metrological Department (IMD) on Monday mentioned that mild to reasonable rains is anticipated in different portions of Telangana in the next 48 hours.
IMD scientist Naga Ratna mentioned that present state of affairs signifies that the southwest monsoon has entered into some portions of Rayalaseema and few adjoining portions of coastal Andhra Pradesh.
"During next 48 hours, the southwest monsoon is likely to advance in parts of Telangana. Southern districts are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall and one or two spells of heavy rain," Ratna mentioned.
The state noticed pre-monsoon showers in different districts yesterday, which brought down the temperature and provided aid to the locals from the sizzling heat.
Earlier this week, no less than 5 people lost their lives and a number of other got injured due to thunderstorms and lightning in Guntur district.
