GORAKHPUR: A 14- year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped via five men of her village in Kushinagar district on March 22 and came to light when the video of the incident went viral on social media on Tuesday.
A named FIR was registered in opposition to five men on Tuesday. The accused were named in the FIR as Sanjit, Vishal, Rajiv , Ajay and son of Paras. Police have arrested Vishal and Sanchit. Hunt is on to arrest the opposite three accused.
The incident happened in sugarcane box of a village underneath Kubersthan police station of Kushinagar district on March 22.
According to the police, the survivor had long gone to wait the character’s call in sugarcane box of a village underneath Kubersthan police station of Kushinagar district on March 22 when six men enjoying playing cards caught and dragged her and raped her turnwise whilst certainly one of them filmed the act on his cell phone.
“We got a written criticism from the survivor’s circle of relatives and an FIR was lodged in opposition to all five accused. Police have arrested two of them. Medical exam of the survivor has been conducted,” mentioned SSP Kushinagar Rajeev Narayan Mishra.
“The police arrested Vishal, 25, son of Late Hiralal and Sanjit Prasad, 24, son of Harishchandra of the village,” Mishra added.
